why? because its finals week.

so i thought i'd do a random update :) its been a long time

went to China

their fob signs were pretty crazy. the girl in the pink polka dots...her name is snow. ask her to strike a pose, and she'll do that in an instant.

visited Snoopy

The L.A. Zoo was better than expected

all the girls in the family :)

Went to see SF for the first time

HS friends are always fun

Made Thanksgiving dinner for the first time.

the turkey was a challenge. we tried to stuff the neck.....

but it was edible

family time was a bonus

our apt almost caught on fire. It was ridiculous.
 
I learned that everything I had was replaceable, and could be left behind.
But I did take my lab notebook with me............

Will be going to THAILAND, summer '08 with this fun group of people

CORE has been a blessing

But senior year is definitely not what I had imagined. time flies. the days go by. I wish there were more hours in a day.

.....i hope its worth it. i feel like this quarter was one big test. one giant challenge. many humbling experiences.

snowboarding this weekend in one sentence:
i'm glad guys aacf guys are chivalrous (because with my home friends, i'd be out there freezing) and on sunday i wore jen's shirt backwards, but the effort needed to switch it wasn't worth it.

since my last final i...

-worked for 13 hours.
-went to emt class for 21 hours.
-had ambulance ride-a-longs for 12.5 hours.
-ate at cheesecake factory
-ate at claim jumper...and had their motherload cake
-ate at le peeps
-watched 3 episodes of grey's
-watched 2.5 episodes of ugly betty
-watched click...and cried
-watched 5 min of Thank You for Smoking and fell asleep
-watched 5 more min of it the next night, and fell asleep again
-tried k's sandwiches for the first time

annnd. went shopping.

am i ready to go home? you bet!

quick update:

-my prof who advertised himself on match.com (see previous post) has come to class quite sad-looking. lindsey and i felt bad for him because we attributed it to his loneliness from too much work in the lab, and lack of companionship with a female partner.

-however, before starting lecture he proceeded to tell us that he had a hot date last night. he had a 'transcendant experience", which is why is is hungover, but nonetheless very happy, and wrote a very cohesive midterm coming up.

-then he steps out to smoke a cigarette before continuing his lecture on the cardiovascular system.

....hm...interesting guy i'd have to say

on another note...what makes me laugh...

-people who have to poo in public bathrooms, because being in the library for long periods of time, they can't hold it in any longer. its most entertaining when i walk in, and i totally know they're waiting for me to get out, so they can continue their business.
